Hello Everyone,

We hope spring is treating you well! As you can probably imagine, we are in full planting mode here at One Love Farm. We have lots of help this year, so you can expect to see our farm stand fully stocked with in-season fresh, organic vegetables throughout the spring, summer, and fall.

This Tuesday, between 3pm and 7pm we are excited to offer you a selection of fresh spring delights.

Available at the stand will be:

Mixed spring greens:  mild or spicy blend to choose from. serve raw or braised

Spring Garlic: An early garlic teaser.  It’s the scallion of garlic.

Heads of lettuce: lime green large leaf lettuce perfect for gorilla tacos. I mean hey, if they’re good enough for Drew Barrymore…

Kohlrabi: An early treat from the greenhouse- bunches of purple “Azure star” and light green baby kohlrabi. You can expect to see much of this wonderful vegetable over the next few months. Word has it that this interesting vegetable will be sharing the limelight with it’s cousin, kale this year. Please share any of your recipes or serving ideas with us.

Tatsoi: another versatile chinese vegetable raw or lightly cooked

Kale starts for your home gardens:   For all the gardeners out there who work with the earth, we are selling few hundred organic kale starts, ready to go into the ground. There are a few varieties to choose from: Scarlet, tuscan(black), rainbow lacinato, winterbor and more.

Chives, chamomile, borage, collard, nasturtium starts: We will also have limited quantities of some other herb, vegetable and flower seedlings:, and more.

HAPPY EARTH DAY and WE’ll see you at the farm,

Farmer Chris,
