Good Morning Everyone,
Summer is a very busy time for us farmers but I believe that it’s important, no matter how busy you are, to make time for family. To my great pleasure, I had a chance to hang out with my cousin, “IT”, this weekend! The resemblance is uncanny and, you know, he really understands me! All of his time is spent in the edible landscaped berm beside our farm stand. He loves the camera, so please, don’t be shy, come out and have your photo taken with “IT”.
Special announcement this week: Our farm stand hours have changed. We are sill open from 3pm to 7pm on Tuesdays and Fridays but no longer open at the farm on Saturdays. We are excited to announce that we will be focusing all of our Saturday energies on our booth at the Abbotsford Farm and Country Market. The market is a great place to accomplish all of your local shopping needs and is such a joyous place to spend time. I love my fellow vendors and faithful market shoppers! Just a reminder that “IT” will not be at the Farmer’s Market.
This is our final week offering organic blueberries. If you would like to stock up for the freezer, we can put in a special order before Thursday to be picked up on Friday. Special orders must be in 10lb. increments and be prepaid at the special end of season rate of $3/lb.
